TN Marriage date Dec 1780 Sumner Co. TN Daughter of Thomas Hamilton and Jane McCracken both born ca. 1725 Thomas and Jane were born in either Ireland or Scotland. They were married in 1750 in Guilford Co. NC Children: Thomas b. ca 1778 William b. ca 1780 1st married Elizabeth Carr 2nd Sally Ann ? Jane "Jenny" b. ca 1782 married Andrew Patterson Sarah b. ca 1784 married Hugh Stewart Susanna b. ca 1786 married Thomas Reed Elizabeth b. ca 1788 married ? Davis Anna b. ca 1790 My husband is connected through William Shaw and his second wife Sally Ann. They had four children that we know of. NC James and Marinda had 11 children.
