Hi, unfortunately I can't get beyond a William Tillery in the 1900 census in AL. He was married to Elizabeth May. But he was listed as Qualm Tillery in census, it really threw me for a loop. until I got a death certificate, I didn't have a clue. James SHAW's son James was b. 1829 +/- in GA. He later moved, with his mother Roda and brothers and sisters, to Benton (later named Calhoun Co.), AL. He m. Parthenia YOUNG circa 1850. They had several chldren. His line is very well-documented down to today. Many of his descendants still live in either Anniston, Calhoun, AL or Gadsden, Etowah, AL or communities near both. By the way, there was a marriage in GA in 1792 between a Sarah TILLERY and a SHAW that intrigues me; do you have any info on them or their children? I'm trying to place my ggg gf James SHAW who was b. circa 1795/1800 in GA or NC. That marriage is one of two that would fit my ancestor's probable d.o.b./p.o.b. Thanks for your earlier response.
