Hi Sandy, Mine are from Pottawattmi (not sure I spelled that right without looking it up) and Black Hawk. I also have my mother and brother in Johnson Co. Did yours come from Canada? My mother has a cousin who also married a man by the last name of Shaw but so far we haven't connected the two families. They live in Pekin, Ill. If you would like me to I could forward your message on to her and maybe there is some connection there. It seems to me at one time her father said that he did have some relatives in Iowa but I can't remember where.
