With all this Shaw information coming up about Guilford County, NC, I hope I can connect to someone somewhere. My ggg-grandfather, Thomas Shaw was born 1794 (probably in Guilford County, best I can figure), married Elizabeth Graybeal from Ashe/Wilkes County, NC. I connect through their son, Solomon Shaw. Other children that I know of included John, Alfred, and Doctor N. Shaw. Does anyone recognize any of these names? Doctor is such an unusual first name, I am hoping someone will have something. I am stuck on Thomas and any help would be greatly appreciated.
