In 1880 census Keturah (Thompson) Shaw, widow, was living with daughter Martha Ann B. Shaw, married to William Marion Byrd, in Campbell County, KY In the 1900 Census Sarah Shaw and Emmett E. Grant were living in Howell County, MO,--Emmett 45 and Sarah 44, with children Buford age 17 and Mattie 10. 1910 Buford Grant and sister, Mattie, were living in Scott County, MO. No parents are shown. 1920 Buford Grant, 37, and wife Hattie, were living in New Madrid County, MO, with children: Denver Grant 4 William Grant 2 Julia Grant 3 mo.
