Good for you! I got so disgusted with Ancestry.com yesterday, I turned my computer off completely and didn't get back on 'till this evening--something I haven't done in weeks. You're right: after a lot of searching and slow responses, it all came back to the main menu telling me I had to pay money. Yes, they have 7,435 John Shaws for me to research, but I will have to become a member first and choose from a list of all the different amounts I can pay for certain types of services.
