Dale: If you find you have time, would you look to see if there is a Thomas Shaw (born around 1790, plus or minus)from North Carolina who married a woman named Elizabeth (last name possibly Cane, Cave, or Graybeal from around Ashe County/Wilkes County, NC.) I think he may have been from Guilford County. They had children named Solomon, Alfred, John, and Doctor Newton Shaw. I am at a total block wall in regard to him. As some of you have noted in e-mails to me...I got swamped with look-up requests! :-) Over 40 at last count. That's not a problem, but, it will take a day or two to answer all requests. Please be patient with me. hehe Thanks for the kind words, as well... Dale, I am brand new to the list as of yesterday. I know you are busy looking up things for people in the book. When you get an extra minute could you explain what book you have and if it something that others could lay hands on or order from somewhere? Thanks for any imput.
