Is this Linda or Sandi? I thought it was Linda that was working on Family History. I just looked up in my mailbox and realized that I lost the message I was saving to contact you whenever I came across something , so it's a good thing that I didn't need to forward this message!!!! As a matter of fact, I lost all of my addresses when I had to reformat the hard drive a couple of months ago. Computers are wonderful but they are also a real pain sometimes. We have ordered a new computer and it should be here within the next week. I can hardly wait but I am so afraid that I will lose everything again when I transfer over to the new one. I just barely found this Shaw list and am really excited about it. Have you had any luck with it for your Shaw family? I am hoping something will come up for mine. I let the Genealogy go for a while and now I am just getting back to it with a renewed enthusiasm. Sure wish I knew more of what I was doing with it. I feel pretty clutzy but I'm trying to get started again. Sure wish I could get some place with these Shaws. Thanks for writing back. Let's keep in touch. Copy everything onto a 3 1/2 floppy disc before getting the new computer. CV Mary Oesterle wrote: > Is this Linda or Sandi? I thought it was Linda that was working on Family > History. I have computer less than a year old, but in a fall I damaged my program and had to eras hard drive, loosing everything. I now have a binder in which every six weeks or so I print out my address book. If I should accidently loose every thing, I have selected material, including my address book , I have found it hand if I wish to look up an address whild working in another program.
