Thanks Marci. maybe we can help each other. I will check on that right away. In fact I am going to Conway today, will check on death records and take another look at the cemetary records. Last time I looked at that cemetary I just noted 25 shaws, no bells, but then I did not know the name of my great-grandfather. The names on it are J. Tom (Feb 25, 1895- Sep 11 1964) and H. Mae ( Jan 13 1898- July 24, 1973) You might want to try to obtain a death cert for this J. Tom and see if he may be related to your John Thomas. I'll keep looking and see what I can come up with. > >Marci > > >Marci Shaw Peralez > >"If you can't get rid of the family skeleton, you may as well dance with it." - George Bernard Shaw > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Lula Holeman > To: SHAW-L@rootsweb.com > Sent: Monday, May 14, 2001 11:08 AM > Subject: Re: [SHAW] John Thomas and Rebecca Shaw AL to AR > > > No, sorry, I do not have parents for John - and am not sure if he was called > "John", "Thomas," or "Tom."
