Do you have any record of a "Shaw" with connections to the Dwight family? I have been searching for information about B. D. Shaw who married Sophia Hammond. No dates or locations available. Their son, Wm. S. Shaw, born Apr. 10, 1843, location unknown, died June 11, 1902, Afton, N.Y. Wm. S. Shaw married Amelia E. Tracy of Coventry, N.Y. They had a son, John Dwight Shaw, who was my grandfather. I think the "D" in B. D. Shaw might be "Dwight". There is a good possibility that Sophia Hammond came from Vermont.
