My source for my Roger Shaw line comes from Harriettte Farwell's 1904 book entitled "Shaw Records: A Memorial of Roger Shaw 1594-1661" and for my Hiram Shaw line from my father's records. My problem is Hiram Shaw (8/12/1800-between 1982-1864) whose daughter, Adaline Washburn Shaw m. Lyman Philander Shaw, a descendant of Roger, and they were not known to be related. I've hit a deadend with Hiram - both my late father and I searched for Hiram's ancestors for years and I continue the quest. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Best wishes, Jane L. Shaw, 12th generation direct descendant of Roger Shaw; researching: Behr, Buck, Campbell, Garnett, Graves, Hunter, Logan, Rice, Shaw, Taylor and Willis.

    3. Hello Jane, Your last email caught my eye. I am also a descendent of Roger SHAW, so I guess that makes us cousins (along with millions of other cousins). I am a 10th and 11th generation descendent of Roger SHAW--he appears in my family tree at least 3 times. One section of my SHAW line is still 'temporarioy blank'. What caught my eye was your surname CAMPBELL. My ggrandfather was Jonathan SHAW, b. June 29, 1828, Chester, Rockingham County, NH. He was the son of David SHAW and Sally MARDEN. Jonathan had 9 or 10 siblings. #9 was Harriet SHAW, b. July 9, 1832, Chester, NH. She married a Deacon of the Congregational Church in Winchester, MA by the name of Robert CAMPBELL, b. December 2, 1826, d. at Winchester, MA. Since all of my New England families seem to be related, I thought you might have some information on this family. Thanks for any information you might have.
