How very interesting!!! I have Patrick married to Nancy Ashley in Drumbo, County Down, Ireland, in 1756. I haven't verified anyof these sources, just got them off the internet. I'm almost overwhelmed at how many Shaw's there are! The story I've heard past down is that there were 3 brothers who came over from Ireland. I've heard their names and Hugh sounds familiar. Anyway, the story goes that two went north and one went south. My mother's familiy is all from south GA, so that's who I'm tracking, in a very erratic sort of way. I'm new at this and really just kind of fall over info that smacks me in the face. I shudder to think of how much good stuff I'm letting slip past me. If you have any hints I'd sure appreciate them.
