William was not mentioned so not sure if he had passed away at that time or not. I am sorry I cannot be more specific..looked at so many things. Would have been in early 1800's because was looking for Sheppard Shaw or Greenberry Shaw who were in the area at that time. Mahala and William do not seem to have any connection to my line..just remember her name and the fact that there was no adult male mentioned in the household. Hope this helps a little. Barb
