His father was Thomas Jefferson Shaw and his mother Mary Jane Maddox. I do not know who he married but if you think there could be a connection, let me know. They probably lived in the Sanford County AL area. This is not my direct Shaw line..but if you went back far enough, we would share Patrick and Nancy Ashley Shaw as ancestors. Barb
