    3. No, sorry, I do not have parents for John - and am not sure if he was called "John", "Thomas," or "Tom." I do have names and birth dates (I think) of his children, and some are buried near Guy, AR. I truely would like to make a connection, but know so little. My Shaws also settled in Faulkner Co, many of them are buried in New Liberty Cemetery. If your John was born in the 1850's, he could possibly be a nephew of my John Newton Shaw, who was the person who brought the family to AR. I don't have anyone listed in AL, just GA. I have 4 sons of Amos Shaw that I still don't have family listed for. I'll go through my research, and call my cousin to look through hers. Their six children were born in Alabama, but my grandmother was married in Faulkner Co., AR in 1891. I have not concrete dates but John and Rebecca were supposedly born in the 1850's. 3. Lula, I was going through some pictures taken at New Liberty Cemetery, and found a headstone that doesn't seem to fit in with my family, but makes more sense now that I've talked to you. The names on it are J. Tom (Feb 25, 1895- Sep 11 1964) and H. Mae ( Jan 13 1898- July 24, 1973) You might want to try to obtain a death cert for this J. Tom and see if he may be related to your John Thomas. I'll keep looking and see what I can come up with.
