I am searching for information on my great-grandparents, John Thomas and Rebecca Shaw. Their six children were born in Alabama, but my grandmother was married in Faulkner Co., AR in 1891. I have not concrete dates but John and Rebecca were supposedly born in the 1850's. Any help will be appreciated. Lula, Do you have parents on John Thomas? My Shaws also settled in Faulkner Co, many of them are buried in New Liberty Cemetery. If your John was born in the 1850's, he could possibly be a nephew of my John Newton Shaw, who was the person who brought the family to AR. I don't have anyone listed in AL, just GA. I have 4 sons of Amos Shaw that I still don't have family listed for. I'll go through my research, and call my cousin to look through hers. Take care!
