Deborah, Warren was responding to my query about Jeremiah Shaw, b. 21 Feb., 1826 in TN (?), d. 15 Feb, 1900 in AL. Warren says that he is the son of Joseph Shaw, Sr. who married Rebecca Forbes on Aug 30, 1817 in Guilford Co., NC. She was, (I have been told) the daughter of Jeremiah Forbes (no other info).
