I'm looking for my GGGrandfather's fathers given name. His mother was Ruth Burbank, described below, but I am unable to identify his SHAW father. According to a family bible in my possession, Isaac Burbank b.1 Apr, 1761; d. 26 Mar, 1838; married Judith ALLEN b. 20 Sept, 1768; d. 7 April, 1855, on 21 May, 1789. My GGGgrandmother, Ruth BURBANK was the first child, b. Fitzwilliam NH, 22 May, 1790; d. 1 April, 1863 in Rupert, VT. Other siblings: Louisa BURBANK, b. 29 May,1792 in Royalston, MA; d.? Sullivan BURBANK, b. 11 Sept. 1802, in Bethel, VT, d. 27 Oct., 1804 John Sullivan BURBANK, b. 12 July, 1805 in Bethel, VT; d. 29 Sept, 1877 in North Granville, (VT ?) Ruth is the mother of Jesse Allen Shaw, my GGgrandfather, b. Feb.. 9, 1827 in Rupert, VT; d. June 5, 1900 in Ventura, CA. Married Eliza LOCKE ?, b. ? d. 31 Aug, 1919 in Ventura, CA. So far, I've been unable to find the given name of his father (presumably, Ruth's husband). If anyone has any information in this regard, I would be eternally grateful!
