My g-g-grandfather was John Remington Shaw b. June 22, 1813 in Stephentown, NY d. May 26, 1899 in Alfred, NY. He was the son of Anthony and Susannah (Remington) Shaw. His first wife was Mary Burdick of Alfred, NY. They had 6 children. His second wife was Mary Lucinda Williams (b. 1832) born and died in Alfred, NY. They had 5 children. I am looking for information on Mary Lucinda (Williams) Shaw who, according to the family, was to have descended from Roger Williams of Rhode Island. Any information would be very much appreciated.
