Jabez Shaw married Mary Noden in Tamaqua PA 19 May 1856. After having one or two children, they moved to Peoria County Illinois. Their children were: Fanny, Annie or Nan, Maggie, Ruth or Lute, Jabez, Joseph, Richard, Mary or Mate, Nellie, Mabel and Noden. Richard moved to southern Colorado, where he married Elizabeth Cook in Walsenburg. Hi Gang, Wanted to put my Shaws out there again and see if anyone could make a connection. I have a Lena (Helena?) Shaw (sometimes went by Julia) b. abt. 1860 to Humphrey and Julia (Nagle) Shaw in Buffalo, NY. It is thought that Humphrey and Julia came to Buffalo via Canada but were origionally from Ireland. I found my Shaw line relatives after futile searching for a couple of years. I am convinced that web searching is more fruitful than it used to be, and that it is getting better.
