    3. Thanks Marci. maybe we can help each other. I will check on that right away. In fact I am going to Conway today, will check on death records and take another look at the cemetary records. Last time I looked at that cemetary I just noted 25 shaws, no bells, but then I did not know the name of my great-grandfather. 3. Lula, I was going through some pictures taken at New Liberty Cemetery, and found a headstone that doesn't seem to fit in with my family, but makes more sense now that I've talked to you. The names on it are J. Tom (Feb 25, 1895- Sep 11 1964) and H. Mae ( Jan 13 1898- July 24, 1973) You might want to try to obtain a death cert for this J. 3. This "leap" may be too far, but there is a chance that the father of Charlie, Robert, and James was named "John". And you might look in Charles County, Maryland, which is thisclose to Virginia, for this family. res00qj2 wrote: > Hello, > My "C" Shaw is Charlie L Shaw, b. 1809, VA. 3. Thankyou for sending this information on the Ohio Shaws. My ancestor was Warren Shaw, born 1808 in New York. His wife was Semantha Millington. I know the name of only one child of theirs, and that is Rufus Millington Shaw. He moved to Mecca, in Trumbull County, Ohio, and married Anna Brown Smith. I know they had only two children, Howard Shaw and Johnny Shaw. Neither Howard or Johnny had a boy named Warren. So my question for you is about your Warren Shaw. Do you know his age? Do you know who his parents were? Do any of these other people you named connect with my Rufus or Warren? Please contact me personally if you can.
