    1. Simeon C. born abt 1835-Missouri
    2. gardner
    3. Looking for more info on Simeon C. Shaw who was in Missoui, Boone County, Perche Township, on the 1860 census with wife Ardenia America Norris, and their three children: Spencer Seyborn Shaw (1858), George S. Shaw (1862/3) and Willy (1868) all born in Missouri. Family went to St. Louis for 1870 census then back to Perche, Boone Co. for 1880 Census. Trying to identify if Simeon C. Shaw's father was William "Wiley" Shaw (born abt 1793 in KY or GA) and if his mother was Sarah or Sally Rowland who were wed 03 Dec 1821 in Mercer Co., KY? Where this family moved to, there were always Rowlands listed on the census. And I think that William (Wiley) Shaw's father was Daniel Shaw of Mercer Co., KY. 3. Hello Duane, Thanks for the reply. I have only had familysearch, which I can't find anything on about Walter. I would appreciate any other sites that you can recommend. Thank you, Lorraine Hello, noticed your last words, "unable to research in US and Canada". Have you since found sites that you could search on? My "Shaw" was Oliver, his father was Samuel I believe, who was born in Canada. If you can't find sites, please come back, Duane This is my first posting to this list. I am Lorraine and I'm looking for any information I can find on my great-uncle Walter SHAW. Walter was born in Manchester, England in 1882, was aged 19 in the England 1901 census, and left the port of Liverpool to arrive at Ellis Island on 12th April 1912. He gave New York as his destination, but family history says he went to Canada. I was wondering whether anyone would be able to check US / Canadian censuses after 1912 for me to see where he went. If I am able to search for myself online, I would appreciate a nudge in the right direction! I subscribe to UK Ancestry and cannot access US and Canadian records.
