I have not yet found it in the tons of info my aunt has pased on to me. There are many names missing on that find a grave list. The cemetery was not statred before 1840-1850 anyway. i don't know how that started byt henry did not get here before about 1838-39 and maybe later. Amos or Elihu was possibly born in May Lee Alabama. I can;t find it and I have a cousin who got a lot of info from a local man in Ketona in which the names are different still from what i know, what my grandmother and her sisters used so i ca't wait to see what the names are. Henry may have stopped off in Wilcox county before landing at Ketona AKA Greens which is about 15 miles from "Elyton" which was the closet real setlemant back them with a Post Office. Thomas J (Jim) Evans is my grandfather. I was at his funeral in 1969, six months after his son, my dad, died in Tampa. Gwylim (Guilram) was his 4 year old brother, who died before Granddad was born. The Welshman (Father) is Thomas Reese Evans, 1843-1916, and (Mother) is his wife, my great grandmother, Katherine Sharit, 1846-1936 0r thereabouts. Someone could not spell Gwylim's name correctly, possibly Granddad, who was the only surviving child of (Mother) and (Father). I took the photos of the grave markers on my Ancestry.com site at Granddad's funeral in 1969. I need to come to Tarrant City before I die to take a last look. At Granddad's funeral, a man and wife about granddad's age, (born in the 1880s)probably Sharitts, his cousins, played the guitar and sang "I'll fly away". Granddad lived in Bud and Lucille's boarding house at 1805 Pinson Street. His friend Buster, a retired preacher, preached his funeral. Buster had a copper colored 19! 57 Chevy and Granddad had a railroad pension from being a stationary engineer at Alabama Byproducts Company, the Gas utility. Granddad would buy gas, Buster the preacher would drive, and Granddad accepted Jesus as his savior at the age of eighty. Robert Frederick (Bob) Evans, October 1942.
