On March 13 1838 my ggrandmother was born in Madison Co AL. Her name was Martha Davis. She married Francis Marion Sharp March 16 1865 in Natchitoches LA while he was serving in CSA. He was born November 7 1831 in Meriweather GA. I do not know if he ever lived in AL, Both of them are buried in Crockett, Houston Co TX. Some of this information came from her application for a CSA pension, and some from his enlistment papers for CSA. He died August 24 1913 and she April 11 1931. I do not know if this will help you. If you have any information on Martha Davis, I would appreciate it. We think her mother was Nancy Davis, but we have no verification or anything on who her father was.
