Sorry, Keith. So far, it looks like my Sharps are in AL around the earlier dates you have mentioned. Then they start appearing in Texas on the 1880 censuses. Although, your Sharp men have all the names I have been finding in my Sharp line. I do have a gap for the year 1870, where I cannot find my line. R.M. Sharp (my ggg grandfather), his son R.A. (my gg grandfather). Both born in AL. R.A. born in Tuscaloosa AL. Sorry I can't help any more on the Sharps. Thank you for the information on the Genealogy programs.
