Hello Doug, I am curious about a Martha Sharp, age 70, in Coosa Co, AL in 1860. Census says she was born in NC. Other Sharp heads of household in the county at the time are: Martin, age 40 W.J. (Wilburn J.), age 26 Winfield, age 27 (James) Jackson, age 35 These folks came there from Meriwether and Pike Co, GA. Does this have any connection to your NC Sharps?
