Robert had a son William who married first Martha and then Elizabeth. Evidently, William died before his father. William and Martha had a son William. William married one wife. His second wife we believe to be Temperance Baker. William and Temperance lived in Louisa Co. VA We believe they had a son named William who married Elizabeth Pettit (this is proven) William and Elizabeth had a son named Thomas who married Sarah Snelson. They had son William Nathaniel. William Nathaniel married Susan Ann Whitlock. They had a son William. He moved to Bowling Green KY. He had a son named Jesse who moved to Nashville and married NelleJosephine. They had a daughter, Nell Josephine Sharp known as Peggy who married my father in law Hugh Shelton, Jr. They moved to Chattanooga, TN. This is off the top of my head.
