Could you send me what you have so I can compare it with the information I have? >> Hi Gwen, The info I have on Francis Marion Sharp is from two sources: 1. The first source is a Family History posted to the Internet. It is titled "Sharps in Oklahoma and you can access it by going to the following URL: http://www.familyhistory.com/messages/ShowMsg.asp?id=1763403 2. The second source I have is a Family History Report titled "A History of The Sharp Family - The Descendants of Edward Sharp of Mecklenbury County North Carolina" published by the Rev. Eron M. Sharp (now deceased), Memphis, TN in 1962 This is not what I would call a formal publication; it is typed on regular typing paper and copies of it were made. The report is 92 pages with an additional seven pages of introductory material. It has a lot of material on this family; ancestors and descendants of Francis Marion Sharp. I don't have this Report on my computer so I can't send it as an attachment to an e-mail. If you would like to have a copy of it send me your "snail mail" address and I will have a copy made and get it in the mail to you. I haven't found a connection between this family and mine, but I'm sure that there probably is one if we can ever find it. This family was in Winston Co., MS at the same time that my family was in both Choctaw and Winston counties in MS; in fact, my Sharps were living in Choctaw Co. right at the border with Winston County. Let me know if you want me to send you a copy of the Eron M. Sharp report on Sharps in Mecklenbury, NC. Bill Sharp
Thanks, I would love it. Maybe it will give me some new leads. I have been stuck for so long!
