David Nation was not direct to our Nations. He was the descendant of Joseph Nation and Jeretta Vickery Nation. Joseph was a brother of William, the ancestor of our line. Yes David married a Samantha Van Metre. If dates are right, he married Carrie 4 months after Samantha's death. A lot of the Nations desc. of Joseph went to Ind. and I have seen the Sharps but no idea who they are. Some of the Sharps from Tn. went to Preble Co. and other counties of Ohio. Quite a few Nations ended up in Preble Co. and the Tillmans.
