Kentucky an Illinois.Don't know where before Ky.but brought 2 children to Illinois in mid to late 1885 to 90. A girl Mary,don't have anything at all on her, a son William Henry,born 1878 to 81.In his obit. it gives that Wm.Henry was born in Casy, Co. Ky. but can find no trace of them having been there.There is Sharps there however they have nothing on a John an Theresa Sharp,so maybe they were traveling an just stoped over in Casey Co. for her to give birth.The girls name was Mary, do not know if she was older tham her brother or not. It is said that she carried the two kids on her back to Illinois. Ruth, We have talked before. My husband is part of the Casey County KY Sharp's. Last time we talked I could help with Wm Henry Sharp's parents. I'm sure if they were in Casey to give birth to Wm then they had to be related to the Casey County Sharp's some how. Do you now have more information on Wm Henry's parents or grandparents?
