I have a William and Martin Sharp in Meriwether Co, GA 1840-1850. William was born circa 1800. He is on the 1840 census. William's second wife Jane (Digby) is head of household in 1850 census. Martin is on the 1850 census at age 32. The William is the right age. Martin is a little young to fit your family, but the similarity of names intrigues me. Some time around 1855, three of William's children, Martin, and my gggfather, James Jackson Sharp, moved to Coosa Co, AL. I am confident William, Martin, and James are related, but I can not prove how. Any connections?
