I am once again posting my Sharp Line questions. I have Joseph Sharp born 1780, marries Anna Neely, appears first in old Westmoreland Co., Pa. However, this couple eventually moved northeast of Pittsburgh to Princeton, was Mercer and now Lawrence Co., Pa. Oral history suggests that his father was Nehmeiah and grandfather was Edward. Both men were in the Westmoreland Co. area at the right time. Also, with the conversations going back and forth between southern Sharps, I wonder if this Line could have been part of the group which came north into the now Pa. when this area (southwest) of Pa. was clamed by both Pa. and Virginia. Any one have any ties or suggestions? Harry Sharp
