I recently discovered that I have a connection to the William Sharp who married Jane Woodward, Madison Co., Al ca 1817. They had children John, Eli, Lucinda, Bethena, George, James G. William, Hannah, Wilson, Andrew Jackson, and Washington. I have found William and Jane on the 1850 and 1860 census still in Madison. I am interested in the connection to Eli Woodward age 50 and Hannah Woodward age 74 on the 1850 census in Madison. My ancestor John A. Woodward married Mary Rebecca Johnson in Madison Co., 1813. I believe that Eli, Jane and John A. were brothers and sister and that Hannah was their mother. Can anyone confirm this? Sandy Sharp
