Does anyone know who the parents of William Roberds SHARP were? He was born 6 Sep 1786 in Bedford Co, TN-d. 26 Jul 1848 in Bedford Co, TN. On 11 Mar 1807 he married Isabella ROBERTS who was b. 28 Feb 1790 and d. 5 Jun 1826 in Bedford Co., TN. She was only 36 years old. She is buried in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Bedford or Maury Co., TN. He possibly remarried after her death as I have the name Elizabeth associated with him but don't really know. William Roberds SHARP and Isabella ROBERTS had the following children: 1. Anderson SHARP b. 19 Jan 1808 in TN, d. 20 Aug 1863 in Bedford Co., TN. He married Nicey Belle DICKSON. 2. John SHARP b. abt 1810 in Bedford Co., TN and d. abt 1848 in Bedford Co., TN. 3. William Roberds SHARP Jr. b. 20 Dec 1815 in Bedford Co., TN and d. 3 Oct 1862 in Maury Co, TN. He married Sarah (Sallie) McGuire 21 Jan 1834 in Bedford Co., TN 4. Aletha SHARP b. 1818 and d. 21 Jul 1852 in Bedford Co. TN 5. Isabella T. SHARP b. 24 Feb 1820 in Bedford Co., TN and d. 25 Jan 1905 in Jonesboro, AR. She married Michael DICKSON. 6. Graham B. SHARP b. abt 1822 in TN. He married Almedia ? abt 1857 in Bedford Co., TN 7. Unknown b. abt 1825 in TN. I don't know if all of the above is true because I have mostly "word of mouth" concerning the "facts." I do know that William Roberds SHARP Sr. signed the petition in 1807 to form Maury Co., TN. If anyone has any information that can help me, please contact me. I have reached a "dead end" here. The SHARP family was so very large -- it is hard to sort out the different kids with the correct families.
