Michel In answer to your posting on the Sharp list: I do not believe your John Sharp is the John Sharp, brother of Anthony Sharp, that I am looking for. Anthony's brother John was born about 1764 in Botetourt County, Va. Yours would be too young to be the brother, too old to be a nephew, I think. But there could be a link. Anthony did go to Shelby in the early 1790's -- why? Were there relatives accompanying him or already there?
