I am interested in Sharp lines that came through South Carolina. My ancestor was John F. Sharp b 1803 Wilkes Co., Ga d 1889 Elmore Co., Al. Census records say his parents were born in South Carolina. One son, Jeptha Franklin was on the survey of Civil War vets in Arkansas. He stated his grandfather was William Sharp and also mentioned Morgan Co., Ga. The William who was in Morgan Co., Ga may have been the son of John Sharp who died in Morgan Co., 1817. This John had wife Sally (Sarah?) who then married John Watts.
