Hi Mary! Glad to know of another cousin researching the Sharp line! Your Henry Rice Sharp was a brother to Groves D. Sharp (my g-g-grandfather). I have a lot of the same information that you have from J. Kermit Sharp's booklet but I also have some other research I'd be willing to share with you. Other information I have is that Henry R. Sharp married Sarah L. Harrison November 9, 1843 in Lawrence County, TN and that she was the sister of Mary A. who married Starkey Sharp and Louisa Elizabeth Harrison who married William Lawrence Sharp. Starkey and William were brothers of Henry. I have been told that Henry's and Sarah's marriage license can be found at the Tenn. State Library in Nashville and that they show up on the 1850 Kemper County, Miss. and 1860 Neshoba County, Miss. census records. Please e-mail me privately so we can share info.
