    3. >A cousin of mine has done alot of research and I have info from him, his info >has nothing on a Gysbert in the family. Can I ask where you find him at? >Thank you for your help >Jenny Yes - in church records compiled by Arthur C. M. Kelly and published in many books. Much of this info is also available on ancestry.com to subscribers. I have begun the arduous task of putting together a complete genealogy of the Andreis Hans Scherp family from which you apparently descend. In so doing, I am using primary records and placing people in families based upon baptisms and sponsors, estate records, and whatever else can be found. I also have partial family descendancies compiled by other researchers to work with. As I stated, this is in the preliminary stages, and Gysbert may or may not be the right parent, but the evidence led me to that conclusion at the time (last summer). I am also working on the 1710 Palatine family of Jacob Scherp; and have a large amount of work completed on the family of Anna Barbara (Mathess) Scherp, Jacob's sister-in-law, from whom I descend. All these families first settled near Albany, New York. Bill Hull 14 Farmer Street Canton, New York 13617
