    3. Bill: John always listed his birth place as Vermont.His children in later documents listed John's birth place as-Vermont/New York/Connecticut or Holland. John's parents birthplace was always listed as unknown.In 1880/1870 John was in Michigan.I have found listings for a John Sharp in many places prior to that. We know he spent time in New York(oldest daughter born there);Ohio,(Several children born there.) One daughter,near the middle lists Michigan as place of birth.I have searched Census records in Michigan;Ohio;Vermont;New York and records in Holland;England and Ireland plus some research in Germany.Nothing that we can confirm is our John Sharp in any but Michigan. I thank you for you response & efforts. I know that in the past we have exchanged e mails.
