David and Mary: I am extremely interested in these Sharps...Nehemiah, William, Edward, Samuel and Joshua They settled on the Big Swan Near the Natchez trace tells me Maury, Lewis, Hickman co, Tennessee... same area as my Mayfields... in 1830 census Maury co, Tenn there is a Nehemiah Sharp(age 40-50) next to Samuel Mayfield... same page John Sharp (age 30-40) and a William Sharp (age 40-50) can you tell me who this John Sharp is and how is related...(I believe him to be the one that married Ellender Mayfield) The two families Sharp and Mayfield are very close.. William Sharp was an administrator for estate of Elijah Mayfield about 1843...(Maury co, Tenn) I would be willing to share my lines and notes re: these families...would you ?
