I read your message on the reunion. I was wondering if you are related to the sharps. John was my 6th great grandfather. My grandpa told me about him from what he remembered. He mention that the grandma lost all their land and the grandma had to live in a cave with her children until she had a house to live in. How can I find out more on my family. I am looking for information on my family and my grandpa Andrew Jackson sharp. I have martha born in 1765 in Tn and a child William P Sharp born in 1798 iand died 1880. as for other children I do not know of any. Any help I would love to receive. Thank you for your time. Are any of these Sharps in AL related to Francis Marion, Wm. Baxter and Jackson who stayed in Al after leaving GA, but moved on the LA where they served in CSA?
