Hi Lister's, I need to find out how I can determine which Samuel Sharp is mine in the Chester Co. census. In the 1850 census I found him in Willistown with his wife and daughter and grandaughter, but the census before that due to the reporting of only the head of house, I'm not sure what procedue is recommended. There doesn't seem to be a Samuel Sharp in Willistown before 1850, but one in London Grove and a couple of other town's, so how do I determine which one is mine? There is also the mentioning of these same fellows in the Ashmead and other historical documents as being in the Civil War. In what manner can I determine which one,again I have looked in the penison records but only a few reported enough info that I could detect weren't mine. Since there are alot of connection between the Sharp, Baker's and Yarnall families of the same local area, my head is spinning on how to disect this. Any suggestions? I'm still trying to make the connection, short by one generation, to whom our family ties into. Is there anyone out there in search of the Sharps in the Delaware or Chester County, Pa area's that might know how to push back that wall just one more time?
