    1. [SHARP-L] If You Change Your E-mail Address, Please Notify
    2. Darrell & Nancy Giles
    3. I have belonged to many lists over the period of the last ten years and have contributed to these lists whenever I can. I have had requests from quite a few people to seek information in the Ontario, California library where I weekly volunteer. I am more than happy to do this whenever I can, and keep a database of the information being sought. This past two weeks I have found obits and valuable information requested some time earlier and when I tried to forward the information to the persons seeking it, it was undeliverable because they have changed their e-mail addresses or home addresses and not notified the lists or me. Please keep this in mind - if you change your address (snail or e-mail) please let others you have requested help from know it. I feel so badly that I have this information and there is no one now to send it to. Again please keep your address changes up to date with those you correspond with. You never know what you might have waiting for you too. Please feel free to pass this suggestion along to any list you belong to not on the one I have sent it to. Thanks, Nancy Giles

    3. Have you checked all the Sharp's in Sharps Station on early Campbell co. Tn Records. I looked for a Sharp and Turner connection but didn't find one but there are lots of George Sharps there with no middle names. One for example is George son of Jacob son of Aaron Sharp my ancester. Aaron was b. 1758. Son Jacob b.1782 and another son George Washington Sharp b. 1784 There was a third son called "Bunk" do not know his full name. He disappered. Both Jacob and George W. had a son named George. Hope this helps. If you haven't checked this area there were lots of Sharps they came from Orange Co. NC. I dont find a Willis either but it could be short for another name. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Billie Shaffer" <bjshaffer@prodigy.net> To: <SHARP-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, May 27, 2002 12:35 PM Subject: Re: [SHARP-L] Willis Sharp ( Tennesee)? > All I have on my GG Grandfather is: George Turner Sharp...B. abt. 1830 in > TN. > Son of George Turner: George Marion Sharp....B. abt. 1859 in MS....moved to > Texas and married Alice Elizabeth Batson.....George Marion & Alice are both > buried in Ten Mile Cemetery, which is located between Madisonville and > Normangee TX. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Carol Roy" <croy@bellsouth.net> > To: <SHARP-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Monday, May 27, 2002 11:02 AM > Subject: Re: [SHARP-L] Willis Sharp ( Tennesee)? > > > > I'm new to this list.
