I am trying to research one of my Grandparents brother. He was a brother to Albert D. Sharp b. 1859 d. 1938, the lineage of his brother is William H. Sharp b. 1843 d. 12 Nov 1912. He served in the Civil War, and I have a copy of his pension application. Found him on the 1870 Census for Madison County, Alabama. He married a Sarah J. last name unknown, have question a looked everywhere I know of. Have not been able to determined where he and Sara J were married or what her last name was. William H. was captured at the battle of Vicksburg and was held prisoner in Ft. Delaware. On the pension application it mentions a Taylorsville, Al has anyone every heard of the town and if so what county would it been in. Based on the pension application William had 10 children 2 died at birth or lived awhile after they were born. Sarah J was in her 70's when the application was written an it states she was born in Nov of 1844. Have ran into a brick wall on this one any help would be appreciated. By the way they were living in New Market, Alabama. Cannot locate a cemetery they are buried in. Any help will be appreciated. Bob Morrison

Does anyone know what line Fielding Sharp of Stewart County Georgia 1840 census, is out of Richard Sharp
Am looking for a Eunice Sharp, she married Levi Markham in EssexCo., New York in 1821, one census says is was born in VT and another said in Conn.. Her obituary said she was born in Conn. So, I am wondering if there are any matches to the Sharps in Conn. In Essex Co., I found a Cornelius Sharp, but have no idea if they maybe related. Lorilei McFarlane
