Hello, While deleting e-mails, I run into thhis, don't know why I missed it. As a suggestion try the Quaker records for your Haworth family. My mother-in-law was a descendant on her mother's sie of the Haworths. They were very early Quakers from England. The Haworth celebrated the 300th year in America last July. Descendants of George and Sarah Scarborough. Also look in Pa. Haworths were among the first Quakers to come from England with William Penn. Hope this helps. If I can help further let me know. Do any of you have a male Sharp married to a female Easley in the late 1700's? In or around Ga. SC. Va. or East Tenn. My Matthew( dont know what his middle name was , but think he went by that) Sharp was bn in Va., I dont think he married there. I believe his family moved to Anderson county Tenn in late 1700's then he left out and went on to Burke county Ga. From there he went to Baldwin co. Ga. and finally settling in Stewart co. Ga. in about 1830.

I am searching for parents and sibblings of George W. Sharp b. 1807 TN d. abt. 1897 in Cherokee Co., TX. He married Artimecia/Artimesa Acker in Bibb Co. AL in 1834. He was in AL until he went to TX after 1866. Both George and Artemecia/Artimesa are buried in the Providence Cemetery near Jacksonville TX.

Do any of you tie back to the Sharps that married into the Elam Family? I find a Elam Sharp bn 1777, bn in Iredell NC. I am investigating the possibility of this being my Matthew Sharp's bn 1776 brother. I think my Matthew married Elizabeth Easley. This Elam is later found in Anderson co SC.
