    3. Dear List, Doesn't anyone have a Tamar Sharp in their line. Last know residence was in Delaware Valley Pennsylavania. She was married to a Daniel Baker and they had a son name John Baker. They could of had other children, but I only know of John so far. Can sks do a search for me as to Tamar's age when she had John in 1858 so that I might get a better perspective of what census to search through. 2. Donna Ahsinger
    3. Hello everyone, I hope in posting this message perhaps I will be able to locate someone who is also researching this Sharp line, who knows, we may even be a relative. I am researching my family genealogy and I have ran into a brick wall, like most people do when they first start out. So I'm hoping by posting this, that maybe, just maybe I will get lucky enough to go beyond what I have. I am researching my gr gr grandfather, Richard Sharp born about 1830 maybe later, he is said to have been born in Russell Co.,KY and he may have also lived in Casey Co.,KY. He married Elizabeth F. Johnson she may have been born about 1834 in Adair Co.,KY, she died March 25, 1923. So far I have these names as their siblings, they maybe more, James Henry Sharp b: about 1855, Adair Co.,KY married Elizabeth Lane on Feb 3, 1881 in Green Co.,KY; Malissa A. Sharp b: Abt 1854 married Martin Redman; Willis Elmore Sharp b:March 15, 1858, Adair Co.,KY d: March 18, 1920 in Green Co.,KY married Rosie Black on Feb 23, 1881 in Green Co.,KY; John C. Breckenridge Sharp b: Abt 1860, Adair Co., Ky married Laura T. Lane on Oct 15, 1882 in Green Co.,KY. He was 22 years old and she was 24 they stated when they got married, so this is how I est his date of birth. William Thomas Sharp b: 1862 d: 1922 married Mary Elizabeth Richeson on Feb 16, 1886 in Taylor Co.,KY (my grandparents). I am in hopes that maybe someone has info on Richard Sharp and would know who his parents are. If anyone has any info on this Sharp line, I sure would like to hear from you. Donna

    3. Does anyone know who the parents of William Roberds SHARP were? He was born 6 Sep 1786 in Bedford Co, TN-d. 26 Jul 1848 in Bedford Co, TN. On 11 Mar 1807 he married Isabella ROBERTS who was b. 28 Feb 1790 and d. 5 Jun 1826 in Bedford Co., TN. She was only 36 years old. She is buried in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Bedford or Maury Co., TN. He possibly remarried after her death as I have the name Elizabeth associated with him but don't really know. William Roberds SHARP and Isabella ROBERTS had the following children: 1. Anderson SHARP b. 19 Jan 1808 in TN, d. 20 Aug 1863 in Bedford Co., TN. He married Nicey Belle DICKSON. 2. John SHARP b. abt 1810 in Bedford Co., TN and d. abt 1848 in Bedford Co., TN. 3. SHARP b. abt 1822 in TN. He married Almedia ? abt 1857 in Bedford Co., TN 7. Unknown b. abt 1825 in TN. I don't know if all of the above is true because I have mostly "word of mouth" concerning the "facts." I do know that William Roberds SHARP Sr. signed the petition in 1807 to form Maury Co., TN. If anyone has any information that can help me, please contact me. I have reached a "dead end" here. The SHARP family was so very large -- it is hard to sort out the different kids with the correct families. My line is: William Roberds SHARP Sr and Isabella ROBERTS/William Roberds SHARP Jr. and Sarah (Sallie) McGuire/ Nancy R. SHARP and Thomas Harvey JONES/Sam Daniel JONES and Myrtie ROGERS .........
