Hello James & Carol, I will probably complicate, rather than help matters for you. I had worked in this from 1972-82, then set all aside 'til now. I never tried to go beyond Thomas & Eigness. I can direct you to Mrs. Dexal Shannon @ 219 Halstead, West Plains,Mo., 65775. Phone# 417-256-7431. Dexal had supposedly pushed the line back to John Shannon b 1571 in Scotland, and brought it forward to present time. She might still have some copies left. Anyway from John to John Jr,married in Ireland had at least 1 son, Robert. He and his family lived in Munster, where he was a merchant. He had at least four sons who migrated to America, in late 1600's or early 1700's, they were; Thomas who married Eigness and started our line. William, who filed his will in Sadesbury in 1741. Robert Jr, will filed Norrington twnshp 1747, and Andrew will filed in Strahan twnshp 10/21/1762.
