George Spear-m - Jean Dunn-(1768-1853) 5: James Dunn-m 1749, Martha Lang George Shannon-1759-1840, enlisted 1778 A private in Capt Greathouse Co, a pension for his service. He was born in Lancaster Co., Pa, died Jefferson Co., Ind. Lineage Book DAR VOL XXIII-931 John Shannon, 1743-89, Served 1776, a corporal & Sgt. in Capt Davis Co. Col. Morris's 8th PA regiment-he was born in Ireland and died in KY. Also # 116238. I hope this will help someone who is researching this info.
