I have been watching these interesting e-mails for the last week or longer. I thought I would get in on it. Every time I try to view the Dedman letters, I only get one, the first one, when I can get in at all. My Charles SHANNON bn Pa. 14 Jan 1789, was in Athens Co Ohio with wife Ellernor by 1808 where gr'gr'grandfather John was bn. 18 Aug 1808. I have not found parents for Charles or siblings for John...... I think that my Charles must have been a desc. of this John who was born 1571. ..... It has been a while since I posted and It seems like we have some new members. I am ever in hope of finding a link. Elaine
