Dorothy I'm not Jessie, but I have the same line as she does. I've never figured out anything on Francis's ancestory. Welthy thinks her Joesph & my Francis may have been brothers, since both were in Fayette Co. Then both later lived around the area of the Putnam, Allen Co. line. I have never found out where he died either. The last I have found of him is on the 1880 Census in Putnam Co. It also gave me another son, I didn't know they had. At that point in time, I had believe they had already moved back to Ia. I had found a article that said he had came back from Ia. to seel his land an move to Ia. I had also found the sale of that land. If you can help with where he came from, or may have, I would apprecate any info that would help me.
